Plot: "Red Barry" was the 40th sound-era serial produced by Universal Pictures (followed "Flaming Frontiers" and preceded "Scouts To the Rescue"), and was based in the Will Gould comic strip distributed to newspapers by King Features Syndicated, Inc. It was the third of five serials from Universal starring Buster Crabbe, and while the plot only revolves around two million dollars in bonds and soon evolves into a game of "Bonds, Bonds, Who Has the Bonds?", it has so many groups, and their armies of henchmen, acquiring and re-acquiring the bonds that, in a chapter or two, the people who have the bonds don't appear to know they are the current holders. Wing Fu, brings the bonds to the USA to buy war planes for an unnamed county, and quickly loses them to Quong Lee, a Eurasian underworld chief, but they are re-taken in chapter two by Red Barry. Ballet dancer Natacha, representing a ruthless group of Russians, acquires them in chapter three, but Barry gets them back in chapter four. Hong Kong Cholly, an agent for Wing Fu, goes after Barry to get the bonds, but isn't successful, and is killed in chapter nine. Valentine Vane, aka Harry Dicer, a criminal investigator, takes the bonds from Barry in chapter six, but Quong Lee re-acquires them again in chapter seven. Lyceum Theatre (where Natacha dances) manager C. E. Mannix pops up with them in chapter eight, and the question of the day is how did he get them from Quong Lee? The answer is , though portrayed by two different people, William Ruhl and Frank Lackteen, Mannix and Quong Lee, for the "storyline" are one and the same as the Oriental makeup is only a disguise. The next question is why would anyone want to look like Frank Lackteen ? Two Russians, Petrov and Igor grab the bonds in chapter nine, but Barry just as quickly grabs them back. But (keep up the best you can) Wing Fu has them in chapter ten, Mannix gets them again in chapter eleven, hides them in Natacha's trunk in chapter twelve, only to have Vane steal them, and Mannix promptly shoots Vane in chapter thirteen and gets them again. But, since chapter thirteen is the concluding chapter, his ownership doesn't last long. Keywords: abduction, acrobat, animal-attack, ballet-dancer, bonds, car-chase, car-wreck, character-name-in-title, china, chinatown

(NUMBER 1 1976) Well you can hear the country song from far, And someone plays the honky tonky tonk, Where all the lights go on one by one, People enjoying the sun, And the wind takes it all away, Where the Mississippi rolls down to the see, And lovers found the place they like to be, How many times before this song was ending, Love and understanding everywhere around. Mississippi, I'll remember you, Whenever I shall go away, I'll be longing for the day, When I will be in Greenvale again, Mississippi you'llbe on my mind, Everytime I hear this song, Mississippi rolls along untilthe end of time. Now the country song forever lost it's soul, When the guitar player turns to rock'n'roll, And everytime when summer nights are falling, I always will be calling, Dreams of yesterday. Road trip USA: Mississippi Subscribe to the Guardian HERE: http://bitly.com/UvkFpD 'Nowhere on Earth is more American than the Mississippi delta', according to journalist and author Richard Grant, which is why he decided to make it his home. In search of the spirit of the Deep South, he takes us on a road trip exploring the eccentricities of the region, from the lobby of the famous Peabody Hotel in Memphis to the crossroads in Clarksdale, where legendary guitarist Robert Johnson sold his soul to the devil. On the way he takes in a gospel service and blues session on a porch, and meets a Chinese store owner with a deep Mississippi drawl.

A visit to Mississippi
"Mississippi" was a popular single by Dutch group Pussycat which consisted of three sisters Betty, Marianne and Toni Kowalczyk of which Toni (now Toni Willé) was the lead vocalist. The song was the sole number one single for Pussycat. Werner Theunissen wrote "Mississippi" in 1969 being inspired by the Bee Gees song "Massachusetts". By December 1975, the song became a massive hit seller at the number one position in the Dutch charts, followed by its international success. It is estimated to have sold five million copies worldwide. WayneL92 requested this wonderful, happy tune. So, here is my version. I hope you like it. Dave and Dave

37 millions Americans in this country lives in poverty. In rural areas some people are without water & gas. Some the homes they live has holes in the ceilings, roofs, and floors.

You might know tamales from your favorite lunch spot or go-to food truck. But little did you know that this Mesoamerican staple long ago made its way to the great state of Mississippi. Say what?
